(Beijing, December 3) The "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 Artistic Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament has come to an end today. In an interview with the media Bruno Grandi, President of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), praised the venue team of the National Indoor Stadium for the excellent job they had done over the past days.

The FIG chief and the participating athletes and officials were all impressed with the newly-completed National Indoor Stadium. As Bruno Grandi put it, the stadium was large and beautiful and well-functioning, and athletes to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games should seize the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and attain their goals.

Commenting on the venue operation and competition management of the Beijing tournament, the FIG President said though it was not perfect it was good enough for such a test event for next year's Olympic Games. The results of the test, he added, will be very helpful for further improvement. He believed by the time of the Beijing Games the venue and its supporting facilities will function better and the organizing work and related services more compatible to the expectations of all.
