(Beijing, November 30) The men's qualification of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 Trampoline Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament concluded this evening at the National Indoor Stadium, with eight gymnasts qualifying for the final headed by Flavio Cannone of Italy.

Competing in the two-round men' qualification were 16 trampolinists, among whom China's Ye Shuai, winner of this year's World Championships, collected 67.00 points (28.00 and 39.00) to place ninth.

Ye's teammate Dong Dong, runner-up at the recent world fixture, led in the first round with 30.50pts but only got 29.90 for a blunder  in the second and had to be content with an 11th place and might probably miss the final.

Que Zhicheng, Tu Xiao and Lu Chunlong of the Chinese Gymnastics Association Team placed second, seventh and 15th respectively. However, as a second team from the host country they just competed in the qualification and their results would not be brought into the final.

Italy's Flavio Cannone earned a two-round total of 69.90 (30.20, 39.70) to lead the group. The third and fifth places went respectively to Henrik Stehlik of Germany with 69.20 (30.20, 39.00), Dmitry Ushakov of Russia with 69.20 (30.30, 38.90), and Jason Burnett of Canada with 69.10 (29.60, 39.50).

The last three berths in the final belonged to Peter Jensen of Denmark (68.90), Yasuhiro Ueyama of Japan (67.10) and Mikalai Kazak of Belarus (65.20) respectively.

The men's final will be held at the National Indoor Stadium at 8:15 p.m. on December 3.
