Olga Kapranova (RUS) - Gold Medalist

Opening words:
"I like this venue and this competition. I think the organization is very good and I hope I can come here again."

On the city:
"For Beijing I cannot comment because I did not have much time to see the city and take a tour here, but for the venue I think it is splendid."

On celebrating her birthday in Beijing:
"Yesterday was my birthday but I did not expect it to fall in the competition.  I received flowers and cake so I was quite satisfied."

On the Chinese gymnasts:
"I wish them all the best."

Anna Bessonova (UKR) - Silver medalist

Opening words:
"I like this venue and the competition, I think the competition was very good.  I am not very happy with my performance but I still have time to correct my mistakes before the Olympics."

On the importance of the trip and why she was disappointed with her performance:
"I think most importantly it is to see the Olympic venue.  It meant I could get used to the climate here.  I have taken many competitions this year so I am a little bit tired."

On Chinese gymnasts:
"I think the Chinese gymnasts are very good here and should continue to listen to their coaches."

GARAYEVA Aliya (AZE) - bronze medalist

"I think the competition and the venue are very good.  I think the organization was good.  I liked the audience especially."
