(Beijing, December 3) Asian countries bid strong in the men's horizontal bar final of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 Trampoline Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament held at the National Indoor Stadium this evening as Korean Kim Jihoon scored 15.425 to harvest the gold with Japanese duo Hoshi Yosuke and Tanaka Kazuhito ranking second and third respectively.

Kim Jihoon, being good at parallel bars, chose a 6.5 exercise in the high bar final and executed smoothly to gain a final-high of 8.925 and 15.425 all for the win.

Japan's Hoshi Yosuke scored 8.750 on a 6.4 base while his teammate Tanaka Kazuhito, who didn't make any faults either in the final, had to be content with the third place due to a less difficult exercise.

The highly anticipated Fabian Hambuechen of Germany, top finisher of the qualification, suffered setbacks in the final and only managed to place second from bottom with 14.000.

China, earning five golds of the men's events at the tournament, had no one qualifying for the HB final.
