“I am happy to get the medal today and I am satisfied with my performance today, because I didn’t do well in the qualification a few days ago. I did better today because I practiced these days after the qualification.”

About her participation in today’s competition:

“I am just ready for the competition. You know I didn’t participate in large events since my injury at the 2006 World Championship. But now I am ready for the challenge.”

About her strong music today:

“My father chose the strong music for me and others also gave some suggestions. Finally we determined to use this music and I think it is good.”

About her opinion on Cheng Fei:

“I think she is an excellent gymnast and I respect her a lot.”

About her father as her coach:

“I feel pretty good since my father is my coach, because he always gives me support, as well as my family. You know I have a gymnastics family.”

About the competition:

“I am very light so I didn’t control my strength well. I jumped too high so landed a bit late.”

About her training:

“I’ll focus on the individual all-around and floor exercise. Balance beam is the weakest apparatus so I just hope to perform solidly.”

About the foreign competitors:

“They are all did their best today. I think the most competitive ones are Shawn (Johnson) from U.S, Vanessa Ferrari from Italy, (neither gymnast is here) and Joura from Australia. But nobody knows what it will like in next year.”
